My love of photography started with my first camera, a Kodak Instamatic (complete with flash cube). Early memories I have are taking pictures of ice crystals on the inside of a drafty window in the wintertime, patterns of parked buses from the top of a nearby parking garage, close-ups of the textures on the knobs of my first stereo system, and of course, fur and feathers on animals and birds at the zoo.

Self-taught in both the technical and artistic aspects of photography, I spent my early years immersed in the world of film, and am now creating photography and art entirely digitally.

I've had the opportunity to take some great pictures while traveling in the United States and abroad. At home, I often find great images right in my own back yard. A lifelong resident in the state of Maryland, I enjoy the four beautiful seasons, mountains and shore that home has to offer. The great cities, unique towns and interesting people in our state make this his favorite place to travel around and take pictures.
